Proficiency testing samples are presented as single blind. No values for the samples are released until the testing period concludes. Values of analytes vary lot to lot.

Preparation Note
The PT sample size provided is 50 g of soil. The soil has been sterilized to minimize degradation of the sample. The PT sample has been sized to 100 mesh. Required storage condition is 4o C. The evaluation of results will be based on study statistics as required by NELAC. This PT sample contains extractable pesticide organics within a concentration range of 50 - 500 μg/Kg. The sample has been intentionally prepared with an apparent headspace.
Sample Preparation
Mix Prior to use. Recommended minimum sampling size is 1 gram. Analyze the sample using the preparatory and determinative method(s) for which you are seeking accreditation.
Note: Sample extracts and calibration solutions should be in the same solvent. Determination of the percent moisture content of the sample is required.
The method must be reported. If multiple methods are used for preparation and/or analysis report on a separate form for each method. Report on a dry weight basis.
